There are days when I miss home in South Africa. Summertime is great in Johannesburg and spending hours in the garden relaxing was a good way of passing time. Posted by Picasa

Bangalore is cracking under the strain of continuous downpour since Saturday 22 October 2005. Nothing moved yesterday evening for hours on end as the entire city was gridlocked. This picture and article is copyright of Times of India. Posted by Picasa

Lessons

What amazes me about Singapore is how spotless everything is. Even in the most "poorest" part of town, things are absolutely clean. Pictured here in the foreground is a group of University students and in the background a tour group learning about the history of the Singapore River. Posted by Picasa

Evening at the waterhole

An evening encrouches upon the watering hole at the Dikololo Game Reserve in Brits. It was a bit chilly but a glorious dusk nevertheless. Posted by Picasa

These were stencilled onto the walls of the rooms at the Dikololo Game Reserve as part of their decor. cheap but effective. Plus they are pics of my favourite type of feline... Posted by Picasa

Not sure why I like this picture of this old woman selling fruit on the beach. The boats in the background are typical fishing boats used by locals in Kerala. Some actually sleep in their boats. Posted by Picasa
