Siddhartha splashing in his play pool at home. He thoroughly enjoyed this experience especially with Navalya. He turns 1 year next week.

A "Rangoli" as it is known in India. These are traditional designs painted/drawn on the floor around and at entrances of peoples homes. This one (of many) was done by Siddhartha's nanny for Diwali as part of the festivities in welcoming people to our home.

For her 3rd birthday, Navalya invited children from an orphanage to spend her special day with her. She totally enjoyed the time with the kids and didn't want them to leave. 

Navalya and I found these in the back garden and they reminded me of the Smurfs. Not sure what species these tiny mushrooms were. 

Hindu Festival of Lights - Diwali, being celebrated in Bangalore. 

There are days when I miss home in South Africa. Summertime is great in Johannesburg and spending hours in the garden relaxing was a good way of passing time. 

The effects of the strong water overflow has left this road stripped of its tar. Bangalore, Whitefield.
