A pathway with pebbles and railway sleepers at the Protea Hotel in Knysna. This was such a well maintained garden and the use of indigenous plants gave it that extra bit of character.
The Protea Hotel in Knysna, at the onset of dusk.
An old engine running in the Cape, South Africa. Caught on camera from a moving vehicle on our way to the President's Cup in George during 2003.

A huge cloud over the Mumbai sky that looked like an explosion from a sci-fi movie.
Actual soap bubbles blown by a street vendor. These things seemed to never pop and lasted for as long as I was standing around. I wonder how he did that?
Detail of the Gateway of India monument.
Another shot of the dock in Mumbai. Boats just idling away in the sun...
An interesting looking building on a tiny island in the harbour at Mumbai, not sure what it's for though.

Evening - a mosque in the middle of the harbour. Serene and beautiful.
As the sun sets over Mumbai it starts to cool down a few degrees, but it's still about 38 degrees C.
A statue of Swami Vivekananda in Mumbai. Truly a noble icon of India. His simple teachings have had a strong influence on my childhood. A really good role model for anyone.
Boats/Ferries in the harbour at Mumbai.
The Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. A very busy tourist attraction just opposite the Gateway of India monument.
A black and white shot of this shell found on the shore. I'm not always enclined to black and white but I seem to be changing my mind these days in favour of them.
An evening in the Maldives and a quiet storm was brewing. Turned out to be light rain but pretty windy. September 2004.
Navalya playing on the shore again, This time with her crocodile.

I've always liked the character The Crow. This time I commissioned a painting of myself in the same pose as Brandon Lee's promotional shot for the movie. I chose not to have the makeup on my face though. If only I could really play the guitar now... This is a cropped version of the painting. I'll post the full pic sometime in the future.
A commissioned reproduction of "Gandalf the Grey". This is the picture that got me hooked into Fantasy Art and I've been collecting ever since. Having this authentic oil reproduction on canvas for myself is like a dream come true. I've waited 11 years to see something like this happen. I'm pleased with the result too... (size 3ftx4ft)

A picture taken this afternoon whilst messing around with my camera. This shot was then stripped of colour and the highlight effect taken to the extreme.
