Cute little fingers... a shot taken a few days after Siddhartha was born. 

A tiny mushroom in the garden at home. When viewed at full res, you can actually see the droplets of water on the grass. 

A massive sculpture of Lord Shiva at the Shiva temple in Bangalore on Airport road. Magnificent!!! 

A rather extensive wine rack at the Arabella Sheraton Hotel restaurant in the Cape near Hermanus in South Africa. This is just one side of the wine rack. This hotel was extremely classy and situated in the middle of a golf estate at the edge of a lagoon. Some of the best wines in the country are served here. 

This is just one of the old houses/buildings I love in Selborne, Hampshire. The countryside is so conducive to relaxation and peace. If you ever get the chance, take a drive through this town and stop over to walk through the village. I'm sure it will be just as enjoyable for you too. Picture shot in September 2003. It feels like time has stood still in this village. 

The sign outside a great pub in my favourite village in the UK. It is a tiny little village called Selborne and I always make a trip to this place because it is so peaceful and reminds me of the British movies I used to watch as a kid. Definately drop in to this pub for some old fashioned hospitality.

Poor Connection

These last few days my internet connection has been really poor so I have not been able to post any updates as it just times out. I must say that my experience with Internet access in India has not been great. :-(

A crouching tiger, my favourite kind ;-) As I got ready to take this shot, the tiger turned and looked directly at me and that is when I clicked. Tigers are stunning creatures and I hope that they do not succumb to extinction. :-(

Another blast from the past... A high school photo, taken in 1991 when I was in Standard 8 (Grade 10). I am the one on the top right hand corner of the photo. The school I attended was Westham Secondary School in Phoenix, Durban. I enjoyed going to school, not so much the work though... 

At any building site in India the only scaffolding you will find is made from bamboo. Contruction workers very rarely wear protective gear at all. Scary... Taken outside the Le Meridien Hotel in Bangalore, July 2004. 

"YAY!!! It's an ox, come on daddy, let's go for a ride." This pic was taken in Bangalore, September 2004. Navalya was thrilled to stand close to this ox and cart. This ox was used to transport rubble from a construction site.  

Home in Bangalore. Thankfully this is in a well laid out suburb, actually more like a secure village. Facilities here are excellent.
