Cute little fingers... a shot taken a few days after Siddhartha was born. Posted by Hello

A tiny mushroom in the garden at home. When viewed at full res, you can actually see the droplets of water on the grass. Posted by Hello

A massive sculpture of Lord Shiva at the Shiva temple in Bangalore on Airport road. Magnificent!!! Posted by Hello

A rather extensive wine rack at the Arabella Sheraton Hotel restaurant in the Cape near Hermanus in South Africa. This is just one side of the wine rack. This hotel was extremely classy and situated in the middle of a golf estate at the edge of a lagoon. Some of the best wines in the country are served here. Posted by Hello

This is just one of the old houses/buildings I love in Selborne, Hampshire. The countryside is so conducive to relaxation and peace. If you ever get the chance, take a drive through this town and stop over to walk through the village. I'm sure it will be just as enjoyable for you too. Picture shot in September 2003. It feels like time has stood still in this village. Posted by Hello

The sign outside a great pub in my favourite village in the UK. It is a tiny little village called Selborne and I always make a trip to this place because it is so peaceful and reminds me of the British movies I used to watch as a kid. Definately drop in to this pub for some old fashioned hospitality. Posted by Hello

Poor Connection

These last few days my internet connection has been really poor so I have not been able to post any updates as it just times out. I must say that my experience with Internet access in India has not been great. :-(

A busy street in Mumbai outside a building built by the British. The architecture in this area was beautiful. I'm not sure of the name of the building though. Posted by Hello

A couple of brave tourists take a ride in these basket type boats out on a river in India. Good Luck... Posted by Hello

Ants photographed outside. Seems like they were having quite a serious conversation. Picture has been desaturated and decolourised around the edges. Posted by Hello

One of my favourite pics. This is not my work and copyright belongs to the original artist. Posted by Hello

A pair of vultures at the Johannesburg Zoo. This picture was taken through the grill of the cage and my lens just managed to fit through. Posted by Hello

Some more fine detail work on the Chamundeswari temple... stunning. Posted by Hello

Amazing fine details on the top of this temple. If you zoom into the photo you will notice how detailed it really is. Taken at the Chamundeswari main temple in Mysore, January 2005. Posted by Hello

A vendor outside a temple in Mysore, India. He was selling items that are used as an offering inside the temple. He looks quite content to me... January 2005 Posted by Hello

Another pic from the Johannesburg Zoo, this time a pond with flamingos. I liked the layout... Posted by Hello

A crouching tiger, my favourite kind ;-) As I got ready to take this shot, the tiger turned and looked directly at me and that is when I clicked. Tigers are stunning creatures and I hope that they do not succumb to extinction. :-( Posted by Hello

Navalya and I at the Johannesburg Zoo. It was a fun day out and she got to see all her favourite animals. Posted by Hello

Posing toward the end of 2003 for a pic in CEO Magazine published in South Africa. It was used for an article based on my MBA research in Work/Life Programs. Posted by Hello

Another blast from the past... A high school photo, taken in 1991 when I was in Standard 8 (Grade 10). I am the one on the top right hand corner of the photo. The school I attended was Westham Secondary School in Phoenix, Durban. I enjoyed going to school, not so much the work though... Posted by Hello

At any building site in India the only scaffolding you will find is made from bamboo. Contruction workers very rarely wear protective gear at all. Scary... Taken outside the Le Meridien Hotel in Bangalore, July 2004. Posted by Hello

"YAY!!! It's an ox, come on daddy, let's go for a ride." This pic was taken in Bangalore, September 2004. Navalya was thrilled to stand close to this ox and cart. This ox was used to transport rubble from a construction site.  Posted by Hello

Home in Bangalore. Thankfully this is in a well laid out suburb, actually more like a secure village. Facilities here are excellent. Posted by Hello
