The best ice cream in London. I didn't know this until I tasted their icecream.

My Siddhartha the day he was born 5 mins after delivery on 22 November 2004 here in Bangalore. This does not make him an Indian citizen strangely enough and he will never qualify for an Indian passport. In a way I'm glad because he is South African and always will be.
A blast from the past... a photo from an ID card about 6 months after I finished high school.

Gotta love these teeth...
The Whetstone Library in Phoenix, Durban where I spent most of my childhood. I enjoy reading and used to go there at least thrice a week when I was in early grade school.
My house in South Africa. Hope it is being taken care of by the tenants... picture taken with my P900 phone camera.

Navalya waiting for her ship to come in... :-)
A widescreen shot of the restaurant in the Kurumba Resort in the Maldives. Peace and tranquility.
Run, run, run, as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the gingerbread man. Well Navalya didn't think so. Taken at Elangeni Farm in Johannesburg South Africa. Navalya loved the animals especially the horses here.
The beach in Portsmouth, UK. Early morning during September 2003 just before leaving to London. The sun seemed to glisten bright yet the shot feels underexposed, almost like the evening sun.
A desaturated version of this picture and soft focus applied to the edges to draw attention to this old building in London. I love London anytime of the year. This was taken in September 2003 with my Fujifilm 2.3M pixel camera.
Rose petal garlands prepared for a traditional Indian wedding in Durban.
My favourite tree at IBM South Africa. Taken at the start of Autumn and I changed the hue to red.
Kwazulu Natal, a beach in the South Coast of this South African province. Taken with my Fujifilm 2.3M pixel camera and altered and cropped using ACDSee. Nothing fancy.
Mountain ranges in Cape Town, picture taken from a fast moving car, but i liked the effect of the motion blur. It was quite a dull cloudy day so i'm surprised the pic came out fairly clear.
Not a teenage mutant ninja turtle, but this one was in the water in the Maldives and Navalya was totally enthralled by it.
My picture of the sun taken at home in Johannesburg with lens flare. Not a cloud in the sky that day...
Navalya in an old style hand knitted dress, hat and booties. She reminds me of the 30's here so I decided to Sepia the picture. Taken when she was a few months old.
Another bright and sunny day at the island resort in the Maldives. The water was perfect and crystal clear.
A typical fishing boat in Kerala state. Looks like no fishing is happening this afternoon.
Gliding along the backwaters of Kerala on a speedboat. Do you think Navalya is enjoying this? :-)
One of all-time favorite movies is The Crow. I saw this crow on the beach in Kerala State and it stood still long enough for me to get this shot. It is a beautiful bird and was looking for food to eat from passers by.
I picked this shell up on the shore in the Maldives and this was one of the first few photos I took with the Sony Digital. I like how the shell is in focus and everything else just blurs.
An evening in the Maldives, Kurumba Resort, late 2004. Thank goodness before the tsunami. Notice Navalya bouncing about the shore. She totally enjoyed this place.

Me standing at the tip of the African Continent in Cape Town South Africa. October 2001. I would certainly love to go back there someday soon.
A sunset in Mumbai, looks great on camera, just be glad you weren't there to smell the place. It had a stench that could make you sick in 60 seconds, which is exactly how long it took before I decided to click and jump back into the car. :-)
